Ladakh’s Resilient Treasure
Called ‘Tsermang’ in Ladakh, Sea Buckthorn grows across Ladakh’s cold, high-altitude landscape, particularly along river belts and valleys. For generations, its berries, leaves and seeds have been used in traditional Himalayan medicine and nourishment. Sea Buckthorn preparations have historically been associated with skin injuries, burns, wounds and inflammation.
